The Most Overpaid Player From EVERY NBA Team This 2018-19 Season

now a little over a year ago I made a video looking at the ten most overpaid players for the 2017 an eighteen season and then a few months later on I made one on the most overpaid player from every team but that one got taken down but now we're doing it again for the 2018 and nineteen season and two years in a row makes this such tradition so we're following along with that tradition and my channel is here to stay so we're gonna do this every year but as for this year let's get into it actually before we do that I have to say that the Kings Warriors Lakers Hawks Pacers and seventy Sixers don't really have an overpaid player because the Hawks and Kings suck right now the Lakers Pacers and 76ers have one big contracted player and then either a lot of guys on one-year contracts or younger players that make up the roster and the Warriors couldn't have such a stacked team if they didn't have any overpaid players so I couldn't pick any one for them but we still have 24 other teams to look at so let's get into it with the New York Knicks with Joakim Noah paying him 18 million dollars a year I'm just gonna leave this here the pelicans withdrew Holliday making 25 million dollars this year don't get me wrong drew Holliday is probably the most underrated player in the league and he had one of the best seasons of his career last season in the regular season and the playoffs but he still paid too much he was only an all-star in 2013 but he's still the 18th highest paid player in the league and he's gonna be making the most on the pelicans this year slightly ahead of Anthony Davis that's when you know something's wrong with the Rockets with Chris Paul making 35 million dollars to save him it's safe to say that Chris Paul is definitely overpaid he's the highest-paid on the Rockets this season over James Harden and he's gonna be the second highest paid player in the entire league not only that but by the time is 160 million dollar contracts up cp3 is gonna be 37 so let's think about that in the last year of his contract at 37 years old he's gonna be making 44 million dollars to put that in perspective that's just about the same age as Tony Parker and Dwyane Wade are right now and Wade's already said how this season at 37 years old is gonna be his last but I mean the Rockets really had no choice though because if they didn't give the Chris Paul that money someone else probably would have and after they should have made it to the finals last year if he didn't go down with an injury they just couldn't give up that chance for 2018 but it might cost them down the line the Denver Nuggets with Paul Millsap making thirty million dollars this season Millsaps the highest-paid Nuggets player and the 12th highest paid in the league I don't think there was a chance that Denver picks up the team option on his contract because soon looking into all the money they can get to sign guys like Jamal Murray and Michael Porter jr. to bigger contracts those Spurs with Pau Gasol making 16 million dollars I wanted to say I didn't think anyone on the Spurs is really overpaid but right now I'd say we have to give it a pal Gasol what he brings to the Spurs is great but he's 38 years old right now and his games been declining every season the Portland Trail Blazers with Evan Turner making 17 million dollars I really don't know what made the Blazers think it was a good idea to give Evan Turner a contract for 17 million dollars a year I mean that's money they could have and should be using to bring Portland a third star player but it just goes to show that sometimes it's the team's fault for not being able to win and not the players the Timberwolves with Andrew Wiggins making 25 million dollars Wiggins has led a lot of people to believing that he's been overrated and overhyped and if that's something that keeps up that's gonna be a bad thing for the Timberwolves who gave him a five-year a hundred and forty seven million dollar contract but hey now that Jimmy Butler is off the team or is about to be maybe he'll get back on the right track though Utah Jazz with Derrick Favors making 16 million dollars favors started out as a third overall pick and there were high hopes for him but the man's really been a bench player for most of his career he's played pretty good but I feel like he might be slightly overpaid at this point the Grizzlies with Chandler Parsons making 24 million a year I wanted to give this one a Mike Conley for making 30 million a year but no doubt we had to give it to Parsons the man's already halfway through his 94 million dollar contract and has only played 70 games for Memphis averaging seven points a game and it's gotten so bad at this point that Grizzlies fans have even turned on him and Bouin the Mavericks with West Matthews making 18 million a year West Matthews is slightly overpaid but it doesn't make that much your difference because the Mavericks have got leftover money to use the Phoenix Suns with Ryan Anderson making 20 million a year the Rockets gave Anderson a four-year 80 million dollar contract a few years ago because he fit their style of play but that never panned out so they traded him and now it's the Suns problem to deal with but it's alright because like the Mavericks they've got the money to spend right now the Boston Celtics with Al Horford making 29 million the spot could have gone to Gordon Hayward who's the sixth highest paid player in the league but I think he's more deserving of his big contract than Horford is how Horford is everything Boston needs in a sinner and he does have a great all-around game but I don't think there's too many of the teams in the league that would have given him a 113 million dollar contract the Toronto Raptors with Kyle Lowry making 31 million dollars Oh calm down Toronto that makes him the seventh highest paid player in the league and the fourth highest-paid point guard he got that contract after having the best season of his career when he averaged 22 7 and 5 and 2017 and maybe I'm just hating on Kyle Lowry but I don't see how he would deserve 30 million a year because on top of that he was even paid more than DeRozan when he played there the Clippers with Danilo Gallinari making 21 million a year gala Nori's the highest-paid Clipper right now by a good margin his contract isn't the worst but it's definitely not the best the Nets paying Allen Crabbe 18 million dollars we got to blame the Blazers for this one because they gave him his four-year seventy four million dollar contract in 2016 the same year that they gave Evan Turner pretty much the same deal what are you do in Portland the Chicago Bulls with Jabari Parker making 20 million a season some people think Chicago overpaid by matching the 76 million dollar contract offered for Lavine but I think that was a good move so instead I'd give the Bulls most overpaid to Jabari Parker because I think they're gambling big-time right now by giving a guy that hasn't shown he can stay help a two-year 40 million dollar contract making him the highest-paid player on their team but hey if he does stay healthy then it was probably worth it and if not at least it's for only two years the Cavs with George Hill making 19 million dollars a season doing these videos makes you really realize just how many overpaid players there are for the Cavs this could have gone to George Hill which it did Tristan Thompson or junior Smith but back to George Hill he's still a decent player but he's past his prime and now the Cavs are stuck with his contract for the next two seasons the OKC Thunder with Stephen Adams making 24 million this season I wanted to say that no one on the Thunder is really too overpaid but I had to give it to Steven Adams because he's a 28 highest-paid in the league and is on pace to make nearly the same as Anthony Davis and Joelle and beat this season the Milwaukee Bucks with Matthew Dellavedova making 10 million dollars dov'è dov'è had a similar situation to Norris Cole where he got me to look a lot better than he actually was by playing with LeBron James these were both backup point guards that excelled at bringing energy off the bench on defense but had LeBron to hide their weaknesses on the offensive side which is what led to him landing his four-year 38 million dollar deal that to this point hasn't looked like he was really worth it the Wizards paying otto porter 24 million dollars the fact that this season otto porter is still the Wizards highest-paid player is not good news for them i mean next season is when john wall's max extension kicks in so at least he won't be the highest-paid player for next season but he's still gonna be their second highest paid above Bradley Beal so it's safe to say that which may have made a big mistake there though pistons paying Blake Griffin 32 million in 2017 he landed his huge five-year 173 million dollar contract in the first five years of his career he was becoming one of the bigger stars in the league was an all-star every year and helping the Clippers to the playoffs every year so it looked like he was on pace to earn a contract like that but in the past three seasons not so much and he's only played in 62 percent of his games since then because of injuries he's still a solid player on the Pistons but he's the fifth highest paid in the league so he's definitely overpaid the Charlotte Hornets with Bismack Biyombo Wow who's making 17 million dollars I almost put in a platoon for Charlotte but then I remembered beyond bow guy traded their this Mac was always an average player that was great at blocking shots and then he had one great playoff run with Toronto so the magic winning offered him for years and seventy two million dollars and two not much surprised they were let down by how he played and traded him to the Hornets the magic with Timofey Mozgov making 16 million dollars no wonder the Lakers fired Mitch Kupchak a while back because in 2016 he gave the wall dang that four-year 72 million dollar contract that's probably the worst in the league and gave Mozgov this four-year 64 million dollar deal and since then Mozgov fell out of the Lakers rotation got traded to the nets fell out of their rotation and is now on the magic and you probably see the trend here for what's to come speaking of falling out of a rotation we have the last team and post on this list with the Miami Heat paying Hassan Whiteside 25 million dollars a year when Whiteside signed his four-year 98 million dollar contract in 2016 it looked like he earned it but ever since then not so much because since then he's earned a reputation of being overrated lazy and for the fact that he hasn't made any progress to his game since then which played a part in him getting benched in the playoffs posterior and that wraps up the video now if there's anyone that you guys agreed or really disagreed with as always definitely comment that down below let me know don't forget to Like subscribe and I'll catch you next video
