OK coach first just your overall
thoughts on the game? Decent start at the beginning, we had a
good tempo we were moving the ball around quickly. Got up by two and just decided
try to coast through the game and very disappointing effort from our bench in
the first half. Second half we couldn’t blame it on our bench because
the starters started looking at the beginning we were gonna
pick the tempo up again. Just a lack of urgency in the game really
the attitude was not that of a championship team. It was a team that
needs the adversity to play and like I told them eventually somebody else is going to close the door on you and you know so we
put ourselves in a bad position. Feel good about the effort I mean
the effort at the end playing down a man to go and and secure a victory, tremendous.
Can’t fault him for that we can fault him for the attitude that got him
in that position in the first place. For the first two goals of the game
what did you like from the offenses pace during that? Just moving the ball very
quickly and a lot of good movement off the ball and then trying to find the
spaces in wide and behind them. You know, again, we were feeling it and we
were doing it and then we started slowing the game down and being selfish.
Not necessarily selfish with intent just trying to do too much with the ball
at our feet and slowing the game down. Joseph Baker started in net what did
you see from his play? You know he’s been really good in the air about coming out and
defending the six yard box. He’s made some good saves during the game today I don’t think he got really tested I mean they
got a couple goals on him, but we didn’t come out with any outstanding saves
either. That’s part of being a goalkeeper sometimes only
only they take two shots and they hit two bangers and you got two goals
against you and no saves and that’s not a fault on the goalkeeper. Thank you coach.
