Krillin Wins The Tournament of Power- Dragon Ball Super Theory

Krillin Wins The Tournament of Power- Dragon Ball Super Theory

Basically, winner of the tournament is supposed
to be the Universe with the highest number of survivors in what’s expected to be an
80 man battle royal, with the participation of 8 different Universes. What will happen? If at the end of 48 minutes multiple Universes
has the exact number of survivors? They have not cleared that yet, there are
unlimited possibilities in regards to how this might end, but for now let’s assume
that Universe 7 will go on to win the tournament. Now, if Universe 7 does win the tournament
who will be the one last man standing for them? I guess the most common prediction or the
outcome to expect is Goku. While many fans rather want to see Gohan or
Vegeta get it. Also, it’s fair to say if someone like 17
or Frieza ends up winning; it won’t be that surprising, since they are formidable fighters
with enough powers. Now, in this video we will share a Theory,
and if that Theory comes true, that will probably be the most shocking moment in the history
of Dragon Ball, not just DBS. According to this rather crazy sounding theory,
Krillin will be the last man standing and win it for Universe 7. That would undoubtedly be the single most
shocking, WTF, stunning moment, and whether you like the outcome or not this is something
that promises to catch you off-guard. Now, wait, you do want Super to be unpredictable,
but at the same time you don’t want them to do something illogical to be unpredictable
right? So the question boils down to, if it would
make sense if Krillin is able to do something like that? And of course if there are any hints or points
to back our theory up or is it just completely wishful thinking? So, let’s go through those 2 points. Firstly, when it comes to if it will make
sense. We would have to say, this is the single most
perfect opportunity for them to give someone like Krillin his best moment. If they ever want to give Krillin, a character
who has been a prominent part of Dragon Ball since the very beginning a grand moment; then
this is it. Because, over and over again it is being mentioned
that The Tournament of Power is not all about strength, but will prioritize technique and
skills. It is understood that battle intelligence,
and strategic fighting might trump over powerful fighters. Not only that, it’s a team game. Meaning the last man standing doesn’t have
to be the most dominant fighter, the best performer or the one with the highest number
of eliminations. In a matter of fact, someone could survive
till the end without even eliminating a single fighter, and how that would happen you ask? Imagine, the last 3 survivors are Goku, Hit
and Krillin. Now, Hitman Hit is yet to finish his job of
killing Goku, which he was hired for, and his client Goku himself permitted him unlimited
time. In that case, Goku gets killed, but Hit is
disqualified due to breaking the rules. So, Krillin who might not have eliminated
anyone before could be the winner. Now, don’t start judging the Hit killing
Goku part it was just an example, someone might kill someone accidentally not intentionally,
or there could be a double elimination. In other case, it could be that let’s say
someone like Jiren is left in a very bad condition, Goku gives his all but gets eliminated by
Jiren, but Jiren also doesn’t have any strength left in his body. DBS loves to give throwbacks to DB and DBZ,
both in the anime and the manga. If something like that happens, this would
be a throwback to the Saiyan saga, when the fate of mighty Vegeta was in the hands of
Krillin. Then, he let him go because Goku asked him
to, but this time around Goku would be cheering for Krillin, so Krillin solar flares a Jiren
who only has 5% energy left in his body, and wins. So, all these scenarios were imagined to give
you an idea how a weaker fighter might win it in a sensible manner or without having
to directly overpower the biggest of fighters. Another interesting thing is while someone
like Goku or Jiren will be on full offense mode during the battle royal, and will also
be targeted a lot. Someone like Krillin would rather concentrate
on surviving, defending and no one is really desperate to get them eliminated. I mean come on, why bother with Krillin when
you have obstacles like Goku, Gohan or Vegeta to overcome? So, this would mean by the end of the battle,
Krillin could be almost retaining 90% of his health or energy. Allowing him to be swift, and might as well
give him that edge over the last one. So this was the part about if Krillin winning
could be logical or not. That was my explanation; I’ll leave it to
you to judge it, and surely hope to get some additions from you guys in the comments. Now, I want to cover the parts about if there
were any hints given to us earlier on. Primarily since the beginning of Super, we’ve
got small hints about Krillin potentially doing something but those never amounted to
anything until this arc. Like, in resurrection F, Krillin is primarily
scared to fight but after being motivated, he is able to fight just fine. This gives us a message, that Krillin’s
fighting game is fine; he just has some mental blocks, but then arcs went by and this moment
of attention Krillin got was not expanded. Then there was an episode where Krillin asked
Goku to punch him just to see how much the power gap has grown. We get flashbacks about how they started together
and all that. So one could think that this could trigger
Krillin to train and toughen up, but it didn’t amount to anything either that is before we
reached The Universal Survival Arc. This intrigues me the most, it’s almost
as though, they always had plans and was leaving dots behind to connect them in a meaningful
way later on. Even when Krillin wasn’t going to be involved
in action, the story of this character was constantly being told so that it could be
linked later on. In the Universal Survival Arc, Krillin is
reborn! The fighter Krillin is back, he shaved his
head, and now has the classic Krillin look back. Now, this is the boldest indication that Krillin
might be standing steps away from the moment of his life, if you are going to give Krillin
a major role, you obviously first get the look he always had, when he was a regular
fighter. The outlook alone tells us that this is not
going to be an ordinary arc for him. Then, again this arc also surprisingly gave
us around 4 Krillin centric episodes. Something that most other characters didn’t
get, especially the human Z fighters like Roshi and Tien was done in mainly one episode. Tien was there for the next one too, but that
was just rather negative for him. While the part with Krillin has been very
systematic, and it looked like it’s rather planned out. Like, they first show weak and soft Krillin
has become, and now even has difficulty fighting with regular criminals. He is totally broken, this gives us a sympathetic
feeling for Krillin, and we just don’t want to see one of the greatest warriors like that. Then, our feelings are acted by Krillin’s
family, which is android 18, her daughter and most importantly his brother for life
Goku. The most striking part has to be when Android
18 said this is not the man he loved, in reference to Krillin becoming a total bitch. Another constant motivation for Krillin has
been his daughter, she believes her dad is strong, and Krillin is trying to live up to
that reputation. So, Krillin actually has the most supporting
family in DB, while Goku gets pulled back by Chi Chi, Android 18 wants to see Krillin
be a brave warrior, and amazingly enough her daughter wants the same. So, this is a game changer for Krillin. Something that he perhaphs didn’t consider
in his equation of life before this point, but now that he has reasons to fight, he needs
to overcome the blocks that got created over the years. One of the main problems of Krillin, not only
now, but also since the beginning is his mentality, mainly the lack of confidence. If you think about it, Krillin’s moves are
quite the dangerous type. He could be a legit killer fighter, in a matter
of fact if not for Vegeta’s alert Krillin’s destructo disk would have killed Nappa. If Krillin had more confidence in himself
he could use his Solar Flare and Destructo Disk in a much more destructive style, but
even Krillin can’t believe how much of a deadly fighter he can be. This arc has not only concentrated on this
major weakness of Krillin, but also cured it to some extent. Krillin didn’t get this level of efficient
attention in Dragon Ball Z. This is basically when Krillin trains with
Goku under Master Roshi. The audiences are provided with Flashbacks
from back in the days, when Krillin was Goku’s only training partner. This could also be taken as a hint that DBS
is emphasizing on the fact or is reminding us that since the 80’s Krillin was one of
the top leads of Dragon Ball for a long time. So don’t be all that shocked if he becomes
relevant again. They dedicated 2 episodes, during this Universal
Survival arc, 2 crucial pre tournaments episode to Krillin. Where he goes to magical forests and confronts
his fears, dealing with his past, enemies like Nappa and Frieza, more of a battle of
minds. Krillin would then not only get back his fighting
spirits, but would become better than ever before in the mental aspect of the game. From this point onwards Krillin keeps training
secretly and ends up improving some of his techniques, and it is also being implied that
he has learnt some new ones too! A glimpse of his improvement is revealed when
he gets asked to join the Universe 7 team. Gohan who was previously skeptical about him
or was rather underestimating him, challenged him to a battle, and much to everyone’s
surprise Krillin was able to catch Gohan off guard, and win on that battle royal type of
setting. He then battles Goku and was able to go almost
toe to toe with him, given it’s in a battle royal situation, and Goku’s target wasn’t
to kill Krillin. Even he outsmarted Goku with that awesome
destructo disk distraction technique. You could even say, Goku would have even been
eliminated in a battle royal situation if Krillin didn’t himself aware Goku about
the 4th disk. That is until Goku went Super Saiyan Blue
and attacked Krillin with Kamehameha. Even more surprisingly, Krillin was also able
to hold his own for a while against that SSB Kamehameha, but then 18 interferes to remind
that this was supposed to be a warm up for Battle Royal, and not a typical fight. She has a legit point, because Krillin won’t
have to go head on with this much power, he can just do the strategy centric tricky parts
like he did before, and leave the rest for the assistance of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, 17
and so on. Meaning Krillin will be able to do even better
against someone like Goku in the battle royal, because of the fact that power will be even
more irrelevant over there, and Goku only really massively outplayed him by power not
on the other departments. Goku himself learnt a lesson and reminder
about how he has to be in the Battle Royal. Remember massively powerful guys can’t think
of one shot destroying another fighter, because that would lead to an instant disqualification,
and Krilin can use that to his advantage. Have you ever stopped for a moment, looked
at the mirror and asked why the hell did they make Krillin go head to head against Goku,
in the Universal Survival Arc, Before the tournament. Krillin is someone who has been out of action
for a long time, he has been irrelevant, then why suddenly in this arc he got an episode
where he overcame his weakness. Then, got an episode where he kicked Gohan’s
arrogant ass, and fought Goku. Why are they giving so much attention to him? Why did they do the Dragon Ball version of
BVS in an episode? Why Krillin got to face SSB Goku while other
human Z fighters like Tien and Master Roshi didn’t? Why Krillin got his fighter look back? And the answer is simple, it’s because DBS
has planned to make a man among Gods to be the one to win it for Universe 7 in the Tournament
of Power. They are going to make Krillin great again. Krillin is going to be the Batman of Dragon
Ball. Oh! And some other hints, in a recent episode,
when Krillin was doing some drama over not participating, Beerus steps in and threatens
to hakai him, and says while pointing towards Krillin, that he will participate, he will
survive till the end, and he will win the tournament. Well Beerus didn’t really think that Krillin
was going on to win, he kind of said in a general tone for everyone, but if he ends
up winning this would be something fun to look back to. You know this can be counted as another hint
for us the audiences, the writers already know the outcome, so sometimes they leave
small moments like this, so the fans can enjoy while watching it again. Another foreshadowing could be, Monaka winning
the last tournament, now we know Hit lost willingly, and also that Krillin is not as
much of a joke as Monaka, but the wider concept that doesn’t really exist but The desperate
Fan Guy will go on to make anyways for the sake of his fanboy theory is, the last punch
might come from the weakest. However, guys, we are almost coming to an
end on this topic, the last point I would like to add is. This time it’s different for Krillin, because
his family wants him to do well. Imagine Maroon’s reaction if he goes back
and can say he won the biggest tournament ever. Not only that another emotionally triggering
factor, which is very essential for transformation is could be that Android 18’s life is at
direct risk. According to some recently revealed spoilers,
anyone who gets thrown off the stage will get annihilated immediately. So, this could be something that triggers
Krillin like never before, and we might even see something unexpected like him getting
a transformation. Anyways guys, maybe I did drag this too far,
and I do realize the possibility of this theory playing out is extremely low. Goku, Gohan or Vegeta are most likely to win,
even another Universe winning could be more likely than Krillin winning it for 7. Yet this was a thought, I had an entertaining
time imagining, and like described in the video there are some points that makes the
theory quite acceptable. Well, what do you think about this? Comment and let me know. See you in the next, Dragon Ball Super video!
