THIS IS FOR THE FANS TODAY. >>Reporter: LESS TALK ABOUT THIS. THIS PARADE WAS PLANNED IN TWO OR THREE DAYS. HOW DIFFICULT HAS NOT BEEN TO PULL TOGETHER A CELEBRATION THAT IS SUITABLE AND FIT FOR THIS OCCASION?>>WE DID NOT PLAN IT TOO EARLY BECAUSE YOU CANNOT JINX THESE THINGS. AND IT WAS PULLED TOGETHER IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. AND YOU CAN SEE HOW MUCH FUN EVERYONE IS HAVING. THE PARADE WILL COME RIGHT DOWN THIS ROUTE. IT WILL GO TO THE ARCH. AS I UNDERSTAND IT, THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ON THE ARCH GROUNDS. THE NEWLY RENOVATED ARCH ENTRANCE, WHICH JUST OPENED LAST FOURTH OF JULY. THERE IS SO MUCH INCREDIBLE MOMENTUM IN ST. LOUIS. >>Reporter: THIS IS THE CORE CELEBRATION ON THE NEWLY INNOVATED ARCH GROUNDS. IT WILL CHRISTEN THE SPACE. >>YOUR CORRECT. I HAD NOT THOUGHT ABOUT IT BEING THE FIRST BIG CELEBRATION. THERE HAVE BEEN LOTS OF EVENTS. IT IS VERY EXCITING. YOU LOOK AT THESE FANS, AND YOU SEE HOW MUCH FUN THEY ARE HAVING. AND HOW MUCH PRIDE WE ALL HAVE IN OUR CITY. AND OF COURSE, IN THIS TEAM. >>Reporter: LET’S TALK ABOUT SECURITY. I KNOW YOU MUST’VE HAD CONVERSATIONS GOING INTO THIS. IT IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT. WE FEEL PREPARED FOR THAT THAT IS WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. >>Reporter: LET’S TALK ABOUT WHAT SPORTS CAN DO FOR A CITY. YOU TOUCHED ON IT. IT JUST SEEMS, WHEN THE BLUES WERE MAKING THIS RUN, THE ENTHUSIASM BEGAN TO SWELL. AND NOW, WITH THIS COMBINATION AND PARADE DOWN MARKET STREET, WE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY. IT SHOWS WHAT SPORTS CAN DO FOR A CITY. >>IT SHOWS WHAT YOU CAN DO WHEN YOU WORK AS A TEAM. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE TEAM WORKING TOGETHER. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WE COULD TRANSLATE THAT TO MORE AREAS OF OUR CITY AND OF THE ISSUES WE ARE WORKING ON THIS IS WHAT TEAMWORK CAN DO. WHEN I SAW AT THE END OF THE GAME, WHEN THE PLAYERS WERE SHAKING HANDS. AND HOW NICE THEY WERE TO ONE ANOTHER. AND THEY WERE TALKING TO EACH OTHER. AND HUGGING EACH OTHER. AND I THOUGHT, AS A MOM, WHO HAS DRIVEN KIDS FOR A LOT OF YEARS TO SPORTING EVENTS. THAT IS WHAT YOU HOPE YOUR KIDS WILL GET OUT OF PLAYING SPORTS. THAT GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP. >>Reporter: IT IS A WONDERFUL DAY. ONE WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER. DID YOU HAVE BETS WITH THE MAYOR OF BOSTON? HAVE THEY MADE GOOD ON IT? >>WE DID NOT HAVE A BED. THAT’S OUR TRICKY. WE DID NOT HAVE ONE. WE APPRECIATE THEM>>THEY PLAYED A GOOD SERIES.>>Reporter: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE US RAW NUMBERS. CAN YOU TALK ABOUT THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS?>>IT IS A HUGE ECONOMIC IMPACT. SALES TAX OFF THE TICKET SALES. I SEE AN AWFUL LOT OF JERSEYS THAT HAVE BEEN PURCHASED IN THE LAST FEW DAYS. IT IS A TREMENDOUS ECONOMIC IMPACT FOR OUR CITY. OF COURSE FOR THE BLUES. AND FOR BARS AND RESTAURANTS AND HOTEL ROOMS. THAT IT IS BRINGING TO THE CITY. >>Reporter: IT ALSO BRINGS MOMENTUM FOR THE TEAM FOR THE NEXT THREE, FIVE OR 10 YEARS. >>LET’S GO WITH THAT. >>Reporter: ANY CHANCE THE STANLEY CUP WILL MAKE AN APPEARANCE AT CITY HALL?>>I DON’T THINK WE HAVE THAT WORKED OUT. WE HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE CELEBRATION, AND EVERYONE ELSE. >>I AM ENJOYING IT TREMENDOUSLY. >>Reporter: THIS PARADE IN’S WITH A HUGE RALLY DOWN ON THE ARCH GROUNDS, RIGHT UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ARCH. JOSH HELMET HAS STAKED OUT A SPOT. >>Reporter: IT IS UNBELIEVABLE OUT HERE. SO MUCH ENTHUSIASM. A LITTLE BREEZY. THE WEATHER HAS BEEN HOLDING UP. WE NOT HAD ANY RAIN IN THE LAST HOUR. IT FEELS GREAT. THERE ARE TONS OF PEOPLE. A HUGE STAGE THE STARTED SETTING UP ON THURSDAY. THERE IS A HUGE RALLY THE PLAYERS WILL GET ON THE MICROPHONE. THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE DRINKING BEER, BUT IT IS A FAMILY ENVIRONMENT. I SEE TODDLERS AND BABIES. THERE ARE PRIME SPOTS. COME DOWN AND JOIN US. THE PARTY WILL BE HERE AT THE END OF THE PARADE. >>Reporter: WHEN THE FINAL HORN SOUNDED I WAS NEXT TO MIKE BRUSH. HE SAID I THINK THAT MAY CRY. >>Reporter: GROWN MEN WERE CRYING. TROLL>>Reporter: TODAY IS THE DAY FOR ME. IT TOOK MY BREATH AWAY COMING DOWN HERE ABOUT HALF HOUR AGO, TRYING TO WEAVE THROUGH THE SEA OF PEOPLE. NINE PEOPLE DEEP ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET. IT IS PHENOMENAL. IT IS EMOTIONAL TO SEE THIS. IT MEANS SO MUCH TO THE CITY. FOR DECADES, OUTSIDERS HAVE CONSIDERED ST. LOUIS A BASEBALL TOWN MAKE NO MISTAKE, TODAY WHEN THE STANLEY CUP TRAVELED DOWN MARKET STREET AND ENDS UP AT THE ARCH, AND THE WHOLE NATION SEES THE PEOPLE DOWN HERE, TODAY, ST. LOUIS IS A HOCKEYTOWN. >>Reporter: ST. LOUIS IS A PERFECT PLACE TO COME. THE BEAUTIFUL MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND THE BAND PLAYING. ALL OF THE VIDEO OF HOISTING THE CUP. REGULAR PEOPLE GOT TO TOUCH AND KISS IT. A SIDE NOTE. IF YOU JOIN US, THERE’S PLENTY OF GREEN GRASS AVAILABLE. MOST PEOPLE ARE STANDING YOU CAN BRING CHAIRS. THERE ARE THREE SECURITY CHECKPOINTS. 2 AND LUTHER ELY SQUARE. BETWEEN CHESTNUT AND MARKET. THERE IS A THIRD LOCATION AT THE NORTH GROUNDS OF THE GATEWAY ARCH. YOU CANNOT BRING GLASS OR THE HALL. THEY SELL BEER HERE CASH ONLY. YOU CAN BRING SOFT SIDED COOLERS AND FOOD AND SNACKS. NO ALCOHOL ARE GLASS. >>Reporter: IT IS FILLING UP QUICKLY. HALF HOUR AGO IT WAS HALF FULL. THERE IS SOME GREEN SPACE BEHIND US. IF YOU GO FURTHER, IT IS A SEE OF BLUE. AS THE PARADE GETS CLOSER, IT WILL BE PANDEMONIUM DOWN HERE. I CANNOT BE MORE EXCITED. >>Reporter: WILL HOLD THE FORT DOWN WITH THE LATEST FOR YOU. IF YOU DO NOT COME, WE WILL GIVE IT TO YOU LIVE ON 5 ON YOUR SIDE. >>Reporter: IT IS UNBELIEVABLE TO WATCH THE MOOD THE FANS ARE IN. THERE ARE 10 TO 15 DEEP ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE. WE ARE ON MARKET AND 10th STREETS. IT IS PACKED. >>Reporter: THE SIDEWALKS ARE SO FULL IT IS LITERALLY DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE TO WALK FROM ONE END OF MARKET, DOWN TO THE OTHER END. IT IS HARD TO GET THROUGH THE CROWD YOU CAN HEAR THE CHEERS OF LET’S GO BLUES. IT IS SUCH A DAY. SO MANY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. IT IS A DREAM COME TRUE. >>Reporter: IT REALLY IS. YOU SAW THE END OF THE PARADE ROUTE WITH ANNE ALLRED AND JOSH. WAS GO TO THE BEGINNING AND CHECK IN WITH MY CUSUMANO. >>Reporter: IT IS SO NICE TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS. YOU CANNOT HELP BUT LOOK AROUND AND SAY HOW DO YOU LIKE IS NOW? THIS IS INCREDIBLE. >>Reporter: THERE WAS A GROUP OVER THERE YELLING AND IT GOT CRAZY. I CANNOT BELIEVE RENIE, YOU AND I WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND WE ARE COVERING A BLUES PARADE.>>Reporter: THANKS FOR CLARIFYING. EVERY SEASON, YOU START OFF THINKING IS THIS THE YEAR WE GET THE PARADE ON MARKET STREET? THEY WOULD PLAY AND DO WELL AND THERE WAS ALWAYS DISAPPOINTMENT THEY DID NOT GET HERE. WHAT ABOUT NEXT YEAR? IT HAPPENED AGAIN THIS YEAR, BACK IN JANUARY WHEN THEY WERE DEAD LAST. >>Reporter: AS TOM STILLMAN TOLD US AFTER GAME SEVEN CELEBRATION, THEY WERE SO CLOSE TO PULLING THE PLUG AND MAKING MOVES AROUND THE TRADE DEADLINE. .ARMSTRONG WENT TO RUSSIA TO LOOK AT PLAYERS. HE THOUGHT HE WOULD GET A TOP 10 DRAFT CHOICE. ALL OF A SUDDEN, THEY WON A GAME IN FLORIDA. AND THEY SWEPT THE PREDATORS. WAIT A MINUTE, WE MAY HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL. AND THEN JORDAN BINNINGTON SHOWED UP . >>Reporter: THE TEAM STUCK TOGETHER. AND THIS SEA OF BLUE HAS STUCK TOGETHER SINCE 1967. NEVER ONCE DID THEY FALTER. NEVER ONCE DID THEY TURN THEIR BACKS ON THE BLUES. TODAY IS ALL ABOUT THESE FOLKS HERE. ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE. THAT HAVE BEEN IN SUCH SUPPORT OF THE STATE LEWIS BLUES OVER ALL THE YEARS. THEY ARE THE BACKBONE THAT KEPT THE TEAM BELIEVING TODAY WHAT HAPPENED. >>Reporter: A GREAT HOCKEYTOWN. WE ARE KNOWN AS A BASEBALL TOWN. YOU WIN THE STANLEY CUP AND AND ALL-STAR GAME. YOU BUILD A STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY AND A HOLLYWOOD CASINO. IT WILL TURN INTO ONE OF THE GREAT HOCKEY CITIES IN THE COUNTRY. THESE TO CALL DETROIT. AND MINNESOTA, THEY DROPPED 18,000 FOR HIGH SCHOOL STATE TEMPING TIPS. YOU PUT THE WHOLE PACKAGE TOGETHER AND YOU COULD MAKE A CASE FOR US. FOR ST. LOUIS BEING THE NUMBER ONE HOCKEY CITY IN THE COUNTRY. >>Reporter: LET’S GET THE CROWD GOING. CAN I GET LET’S GO BLUES? THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW. HAS BEEN SINCE 1970 AND THEY HAD A SHOT AT WINNING THE CUP. THEY LOST TO THE BOSTON BRUINS. THEY WIN THIS YEAR IN GAME SEVEN AGAINST THE BRUINS. THE BEST PART ABOUT IT, IT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE. >>Reporter: AND NO IT WAS NOT. IT WAS SO GREAT AFTER THE GAME. TO SEE THE BOB LAKERS AND McINNIS, STAR PLAYERS WHO NEVER GOT THE CUP HERE. AND WERE JUST INVOLVED. RYAN O’REILLY AND JORDAN BINNINGTON . >>Reporter: WHEN ALL THE GUYS CAME OVER TO HIM, I FOUND MYSELF IN TEARS. I HONESTLY STARTED CRYING. THERE WAS SO MUCH EMOTION WITH THE THINGS THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE OVER THE YEARS. YOU SEE A GUY LIKE BOB PFLUEGER GET ON THE ICE IN TOUCH THE CUP. REALIZING IT HAS FINALLY TAKEN PLACE. THEY GOT OVER-THE-TOP. IN ALL HONESTY, THE BEST MAY BE YET TO COME. >>Reporter: ABSOLUTELY. AS WE MENTIONED BEFORE, IN ADDITION TO HAVING THIS GREAT TEAM, ALL OF THE STARS ARE SIGNED LONG-TERM. THEY ARE BEGINNING IN THE PRIME OR AT THE PRIME. AND YOU HAD YOUNGSTERS, LIKE THOMAS. LIKE JORDAN BINNINGTON, JUST BEGINNING THEIR CAREERS. DOUG ARMSTRONG BUILT THIS TEAM FOR YEARS. THEY HAVE STAYING POWER. >>Reporter: I LOVE THIS. THE INTERIM COACH, I HAVE FEELING THE TITLE OF JORDAN SCHMALTZ WILL CHANGE . >>Reporter: YOU COULD JUST HEAR COULD CHANGE WITH EACH ROUTE 8 WON. THERE IS A CHANCE HE COULD GET A 4 YEAR DEAL. WHEN THE PLAYOFFS STARTED, HE WAS LOOKING AT $2 MILLION A YEAR. WHO BETTER TO COACH THE TEAM A LOT OF TIMES, WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE STRENGTH OF THE TEAM, LOOK AT THE DEMEANOR AND GREATNESS OF GOALTENDER AND HEAD COACH. BOTH ARE ICY COOL AND REALLY GOOD AT THEIR JOBS. >>Reporter: DO I LOOK NERVOUS? THAT MAYBE THE LINE OF THE CENTURY. WHAT FRANK IS SAYING, IS THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT JORDAN SCHMALTZ MAY MAKE MONEY. HE MAY HAVE TO PICK UP A CHECK>>AND ONE OF OUR INTERVIEWS WITH COACH BERUBE, THEY SAID FRANK’S FAMILY WENT TO A RESTAURANT. IF YOU WIN THE STANLEY CUP, YOU EAT FREE FOREVER. COACH BERUBE, YOU HAVE A TABLE AT THEIR PLACE. >>Reporter: WE WILL TULSA BACK TO YOU. IT IS JUST STARTING. WE ARE AT THE END OF THE PARADE ROUTE AT 18th AND MARKET STREETS. IN AN HOUR IT WILL ERUPT WHEN THEY COME THROUGH. >>Reporter: THE PARADE IS NINE MINUTES AWAY. YOU BETTER GET READY. >>Reporter: NINE MINUTES? I FORGOT TO SET MY WATCH. >>Reporter: YOU ARE AT THE START. BRACE YOURSELVES. >>Reporter: WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE CROWD. THE CROWD BEHIND YOU IS UNBELIEVABLE. THEY SAY THE PEOPLE ARE 40 DEEP AT ENTERPRISE CENTER. THEY ARE 20 DEEP AT MARKET STREET AND 10th. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A CROWD LIKE THIS. NOT FOR A SUPER BOWL PARADE, NOT FOR OUR WORLD SERIES. EITHER GAME OR PARADE. >>>>Reporter: YOU CAN SEE HAVE ANY PEOPLE HAVE MADE THEIR WAY TO DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS. I WONDER WHO IS WATCHING THE BROADCAST?>>Reporter: THEY ARE ALL HERE. >>Reporter: IT SEEMS THAT EVERYONE IS IN DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS. >>Reporter: THE SUPER BOWL PARADE WAS TUESDAY NIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY. THAT WILL LIMIT THE CROWD. THIS IS A RAINY DAY IN JUNE. IT DID NOT STOP ANYBODY. TRAFFIC WAS FINE. THE SITUATION THAT WE PAINTED THAT COULD HAVE MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR US TO GET HERE, HAS NOT TRANSPIRED. >>Reporter: HERE IS A LOOK AT THE ARCH GROUNDS. WHERE PEOPLE ARE GATHERING FOR THE END OF THE PARADE ROUTE. ALL PLAYERS WILL GET OUT AFTER THE PARADE THEY WILL MAKE SPEECHES ON THE STAGE. WE HAVE ANNE ALLRED WITH JOSH HELMUTH. WE WILL CONTINUE BREAK COVERAGE ON 5 ON YOUR SIDE IN A MOMENT. MANY YEARS. THEY WERE MAYBE NO MORE LOYAL FANS IN ALL OF SPORTS THAN BLUES FANS. THEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG. YET, THEY STILL SHOW UP AND SUPPORT THE TEAM. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER, WE HAVE HAD CARDINALS PARADE BEFORE. THIS IS A GREAT ACE BALLTOWN. THE BEST BASEBALL TOWN IN AMERICA. THE CARDINALS WIN EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE. THEY HAVE WON A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2011. THE SECOND MOST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN ALL OF MAJOR LEAGUE A SMALL. IT IS NOT LIKE YOU DO NOT EXPECT THAT TO HAPPEN ONCE IN AWHILE. BLUES, WHEN YOU WAIT 52 YEARS FOR THIS, REMEMBER THE BLUES STARTED IN 1967. THEY CAME INTO THE LEAGUE. THEY WERE IN THE FINALS THE FIRST THREE YEARS. IN THE LEAGUE. THEY DID NOT WIN A SINGLE GAME IN THE FINALS AS THEY WERE THE EXPANSION DIVISION. THEY PLAYED TEAMS LIKE THE BOSTON BRUINS. AND THEN, THIS LONG DROUGHT OF 49 YEARS. THEY FINALLY MAKE IT BACK AND THE CUP HAS COME TO ST. LOUIS. THAT IS WHY PEOPLE ARE SO THRILLED. ALSO THRILLED IS ABBY LLORICO. STANDING BY LIVE. >>Reporter: LET’S BRING IT OVER . [ CHEERS AND APPLAUSE ]LET’S GO BLUES. LET’S GO BLUES. YOU KNOW WHAT? THERE IS NOT A CLOUD IN THE SKY, IT MAY AS WELL BE A BLUE SKY AHEAD. EVERYONE IS CHANTING LET’S GO BLUES. WE HAVE BEEN DANCING IN THE STREET. THEY HAVE BEEN OUT HERE FOR HOURS, READY TO SEE THE STANLEY CUP COME THROUGH. AS YOU HAVE BEEN SAYING, THIS IS HISTORIC. IT IS THE FIRST TIME THEY WILL SEE THE STANLEY CUP PARADE DOWN MARKET STREET LIKE THIS. ST. LOUIS SURE KNOWS HOW TO CELEBRATE A TEAM. WE WILL CONTINUE HANGING OUT WITH THE CROWD. THE BEST HOCKEYTOWN IN AMERICA RIGHT NOW. THEY DO NOT WANT YOU TO FORGET IT. THEY GOT THE CUP. WE GOT THE CUP. HOW DO YOU NOT WANT TO BE DOWN HERE FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS? I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK TO YOU. WE HAVE THINGS TO DO. >>Reporter: THE CROWD IS UNBELIEVABLE. THE WEATHER IS COOPERATING. STORMS ARE SUPPOSED TO ROLL THROUGH, BUT IT IS DRY. EVERYONE IS CHEERING. >>Reporter: MOTHER NATURE IS A BLUES FAN. WE WILL CONTINUE PARADE COVERAGE, LIVE FROM DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS, IN A MOMENT. >>♪ YOU CAN BE THE GREATEST. YOU CAN BE THE BEST. >>Reporter: THERE IS SO MUCH EXCITEMENT RIGHT NOW. WE HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS MOMENT. IT IS FINALLY HERE. YOU SEE THE MARCHING BAND, THE COLOR GUARD MAKING THEIR WAY UP 18th STREET. THEY WILL THAT MAKE A SHARP RIGHT TURN ON MARKET STREET. TAKING THEIR WAY DOWN TO THE GATEWAY ARCH. FANS ARE GOING CRAZY. YOU CAN HEAR THEM SCREAMING, CHEERING, CLAPPING AND EVERYBODY HAS A CELL PHONE OUT OVERHEAD. AS THEY TAKE THE MOMENT IN. A MOMENT THEY WILL ALL CAPTURE FOREVER. THANKS IN PART TO TECHNOLOGY AND CELL PHONES. LINDBERG HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND IS MAKING ITS WAY UP. THE MARCHING BAND IS PRETTY FAMOUS EARLIER THIS YEAR, THEY WERE WALKING IN PASADENA FOR THE ROSE BOWL PARADE. THIS YEAR THEY ARE HERE MARCHING ON THEIR OWN STREETS AS WE CELEBRATE THE ST. LOUIS BLUES. THAT 2019 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS. WE TALKED ABOUT THIS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE FRANCHISE. HOPING ONE DAY, SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULD INDEED TAKE PLACE. THAT DAY IS TODAY. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE TO THINK THAT A TEAM THAT WAS DEAD LAST IS NOW, NUMBER ONE. NOT JUST HERE, ACROSS THE NATION. THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE THAT CAN SAY THEY ARE THE STANLEY CUP CHAMPION, BUT THIS ONE. I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU CAN SEE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE ROAD. IT LOOKS LIKE LOUIS IS STANDING ON TOP OF A >>Reporter:, DECKED OUT IN ST. LOUIS BLUES LOU. AS HE MAKES HIS WAY UP HERE WAVING THE BLUES FLAG. WE HAVE THE LINDBERG MARCHING BAND MAKING ITS WAY UP HERE. LET’S LISTEN FOR A MOMENT. WHEN THEY START PLAYING AGAIN. HAVE PUT THEIR INSTRUMENTS DOWN. LET’S LISTEN INTO THE BAND. >>[ MARCHING BAND PLAYING ]>>Reporter: STUDENTS ARE GOING CRAZY RUNNING AROUND. THERE HANDING OUT TOWELS AND FLAGS. CHEERLEADERS ARE UP. WHAT A MOMENT FOR THESE KIDS. NONE OF THEM HAVE SEEN THE ST. LOUIS BLUES UP FOR A CUP. LET’S LISTEN NOW. >>[ MARCHING BAND PLAYING ]>>LET’S GO BLUES. >>Reporter: THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE. THAT BAND STANDERS. THAT IS THE NAME OF THE BAND. TAKING THINGS OFF AT YOUR FAMILY CUP PARADE DOWN MARKET STREET. >>Reporter: LIKE RENE KNOTT WAS SAYING, THIS IS SOMETHING THE KIDS WILL REMEMBER FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. FANS OF THE ST. LOUIS BLUES HAVE BEEN WAITING LITERALLY GENERATIONS FOR THIS TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN. WE HAVE INTERVIEWED FOLKS WHOSE FATHERS AND GRANDFATHERS AND MOTHERS AND GRANDMOTHERS WOULD COME TO THE OLD ARENA AND WATCH THE ST. LOUIS BLUES PLAY. AND HOPING THAT ONE DAY, THIS WOULD HAPPEN. NOW, IT FINALLY HAS. YOU CAN IMAGINE THE FATHERS AND GRANDFATHERS AND MOTHERS AND GRANDMOTHERS WHO GET TO SEE THEIR CHILDREN HERE. IF THEY ARE IN THE LINDBERG HIGH SCHOOL BAND. TO GET TO SEE THEM MARCH IN THE PARADE. LOOK AT ALL OF THE PEOPLE OUTSIDE UNION STATION. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF A PARADE THAT WILL GO RIGHT DOWN MARKET STREET. ALL THE WAY TO THE GATEWAY ARCH. >>Reporter: I THINK ABOUT THE LEGACY OF THE TEAM. FOR DECADES, THEY HAVE TRIED TO BRING A STANLEY CUP MONDAY NIGHT MERICAL. WHEN THEY PLAYED THE CALGARY FLAMES IN GAME SIX AND SAVED IT. IN THE SIXTH GAME IN 1986. I THINK ABOUT WHEN THE BLUES OPEN FREE AGENCY IN 1991. SIGNING SHANAHAN ONLY TO LOSE THEIR OTHER STAR PLAYER IN ARBITRATION. I THINK ABOUT THE PROFESSOR PUTTING TOGETHER A TEAM HE THOUGHT COULD CONTEND FOR A CUP WAYNE GRETZKY SIGNED FEBRUARY 1996. THE BRIGHT YEARS 88-98. BRIAN BECOMING A STAR PLAYER AND COACH OF THE TEAM IN THE 80s. THERE HAS BEEN SUCH AN EFFORT TO HAVE THIS DAY HAPPEN IT IS FINALLY BEING REALIZED. >>Reporter: THERE IS BERKELEY, THE BLUES SERVICE DOG. HE STILL THE HEARTS OF ST. LOUIS AS A PUP. WHEN THE SEASON STARTED. HE WAS NAMED AFTER BARTLEY PFLUEGER. BOB PFLUEGER’S BROTHER, A GREAT ST. LOUIS BLUE. NO LONGER WITH US. SOMEWHERE HE IS SMILING, WATCHING THE PARADE DOWN MARKET STREET. >>Reporter: ALSO IN THE PARADE, WE WILL SEE CHARLES GLENN. THE GUY WHO KICKED OFF EVERY GAME, SAYING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. IT LOOKS LIKE RENE KNOTT HAS A LIVE INTERVIEW. IT IS LAYLA. >>Reporter: I HAVE THE OTHER STAR OF THE SHOW LAYLA ANDERS. >>I NEVER DOUBTED THE BOYS. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT. TO MUCH FUN IS IT TO BE A PART OF THIS? >>I’M SO GRATEFUL I GET TO EXPERIENCE ALL OF THIS WITH THEM. >>Reporter: WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS TEAM AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE THIS YEAR, WHAT IS THE ONE MOMENT THAT STAND OUT? >>ALL OF IT. I CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH. >>Reporter: YOU HAD A CHANCE TO KISS THE CUP ON THE ICE. >>THAT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. >>Reporter: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING PART OF A TREMENDOUS RUN. MY SHOE WAS JUST RUNOVER ON LIVE TV. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN EVERY DAY. I LOVE THIS MOMENT. I CAN ALWAYS THROW THEM IN THE WASHING MACHINE. >>Reporter: YOU ARE NOT LIMPING TOO MUCH. LAYLA, OF COURSE HAS BEEN THE BLUES GOOD LUCK CHARM FOR QUITE SOME TIME. SHE WAS BEING CARED FOR AT ST. LOUIS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL FOR HLH, A LIFE-THREATENING AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE. SHE IS ONE OF 15 CHILDREN IN THE WORLD WHO HAVE HER VARIATION. IT WAS HALLOWEEN AND SHE MET COLTON PARAYKO . THEY BECAME FAST FRIENDS AND STAYED IN CONTACT. I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU SAW THE END OF THIS IN THE CUP FINAL WHEN THEY WERE STILL CELEBRATING. COLTON PARAYKO GIVE THE STANLEY CUP TO LAYLA AND SHE WAS ABLE TO KISS IT. SHE TRAVELED TO GAME SEVEN IN BOSTON. DOCTORS SAID IT WOULD BE OKAY AND SHE NEEDED A COUPLE OF DAYS OF REST AFTER. HERE SHE IS IN THE PARADE. WHAT AN INSPIRATION SHE HAS BEEN TO THE BLUES PLAYERS. AND BLUES FANS AND ALL OF ST. LOUIS. >>Reporter: WHAT A MOMENT FOR HER TO BE MADE AND ANNA MURRAY MEMBER OF THE TEAM. HAS TO BE SOMETHING THAT IS GETTING HER THROUGH PERSONAL STRUGGLES AS WELL. GLORIA IS PLAYING. CAN YOU HEAR IT?>>Reporter: WE HAVE HEARD IT A LITTLE BIT BEFO AGO. AN AMAZING CROWD. THIS IS THE ZAMBONI BEING GIVEN DOWN MARKET STREET. HOW COOL IS THAT?>>Reporter: SOMETIME DURING THE PLAYOFFS, I LOOKED UP WHEN THEY STARTED TO USE ZAMBONI’S. IT WAS INVENTED IN THE 40s. I LOOKED UP AND THEY STARTED TO USE IT IN THE NHL WAS NOT THERE UNTIL THE 50s. AND THE TREE CAME BRING UP THE ZAMBONI. KNOW IT IS A FIXTURE. >>Reporter: THIS IS THE PER SESSION, THAT IS DECADES IN THE MAKING. IT IS SOMETHING BLUES FANS WILL NEVER FORGET. IT IS MOMENTS LIKE THIS WHEN YOU LOOK BACK WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE PATIENT’S THESE HANDS HAVE HAD FOR SO LONG. THE HOPES AND DREAMS AND UPS AND DOWNS AND WINS AND LOSSES. RINGING US ALL TO THIS MOMENT. THE CHAMPIONS PARADE. >>Reporter: I HAVE FRANK BEVER RENO, THE PRESIDENT OF THE ST. LOUIS SPORTS COMMISSION. >>I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS, WE ARE SO DELIGHTED AND SO HONORED. THIS IS SO ST. LOUIS. >>Reporter: WHAT DOES THIS DO FOR FUTURE EVENTS, TO OUR TOWN?>>A MOMENT FOR THE AGES. IT IS PART OF THE NARRATIVE AND A STORY WE CAN KEEP TELLING. IT WILL MAKE US ALL MORE SUCCESSFUL. >>Reporter: WEDNESDAY NIGHT IT HAPPENS. DO YOU BELIEVE IT THEN? ARGUABLY THAT WERE NOW?>>I DO NOT BELIEVE IT YET. WE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS FOREVER. WHEN A CUP COMES DOWN MARKET STREET. IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING. I THINK IT IS REAL LOOK AT ALL OF THESE PEOPLE. >>Reporter: THEY EXPECT 500 PEOPLE. I KNOW YOU ARE NOT THAT FAST, GET RUNNING. THE ST. LOUIS SPORTS COMMISSION PRESIDENT. CHECK OUT ONE OF THE FIRST FLOATS TO HAPPEN. YOU HAVE THE CUP AND THE ARCH. YOU HAVE THE ST. LOUIS OLD COURTHOUSE. EVERYTHING IS SYMBOLIZED ON THAT FLOAT. FURTHER DOWN, I SEE THE OWNER, TOM STILLMAN. I WILL MAKE MY WAY DOWN THERE. HOPEFULLY THE MICROPHONE WILL PICK ME UP. HE IS QUITE A WAY DOWN. HE IS ON TOP OF A FIRETRUCK. SOME OF THE PRINCIPAL OWNERS ARE HERE AS WELL. LOOK AT THE GROUP. HIGH-FIVES. I WILL CATCH UP TO THE MAN OF THE HOUR. TOM STILLMAN. CONGRATULATIONS. I WOULD HOP UP THERE BUT YOU ARE TOO FAST. I WISH HE WAS LOWER ARE I WAS TALLER. THAT IS THE MAN THAT STUCK WITH THIS TEAM AND MADE THINGS HAPPEN. THE BLUES ALUMNI ARE ABOUT TO COME UP THE STREET NEXT. THESE ARE THE GUYS AND IT IS ON THEIR BACKBONES THAT THE TEAM WAS HELD. THESE ARE THE MEN THAT LED AND SWEATED AND PUT THE HEART AND SOUL INTO THE TEAM AND DREAMED OF THIS MOMENT. WHEN YOU SEE A GROUP LIKE THIS COME THROUGH, YOU WANT TO STAND AND CHEER. WITHOUT THESE GUYS, TODAY DOES NOT HAPPEN. THESE ARE THE ONES THAT STAY TRUE AND MAKE THEIR HOME IN ST. LOUIS. THAT IS WHY PEOPLE LOVE THIS TEAM SO MUCH. THESE GUYS HAVE NOT LEFT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I WILL CATCH UP TO THE >>Reporter: RIGHT HERE. >>HEY BUDDY, WE ARE DOWN HERE WITH A CUP. >>I THINK HE IS PARTYING FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE. >>Reporter: WE HAVE BEADS AND EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW. OH MY GOODNESS. HALL OF FAMER HIMSELF, McGINNIS HIMSELF ON THE BIG>>REPORTER:. THERE IS BIG AL. HE DID NOT SAY ANYTHING. I DON’T THINK HE CAN HEAR ME. THERE IS ANOTHER HALL OF FAMER, ERNIE. ARE YOU HAVING FUN?>>IT IS UNBELIEVABLE. LOOK AT THE CROWD. THEY ARE THE GREATEST FANS. THEY DESERVE THIS. WE ARE SO HAPPY THEY GOT THIS. I AM CAUSING TROUBLE. BOBBY PFLUEGER, THE MAN OF THE HOUR. TAKE THE MICROPHONE. >>WHAT A DAY. IT IS WORTH THE WAIT. >>Reporter: BOBBY PFLUEGER. I CANNOT HOLD UP THE PARADE. THERE IS A TIME LIMIT. THEY HAVE TO MAKE THEIR WAY DOWN TO THE ARCH. WHEN YOU SEE GUYS LIKE THAT COME THROUGH, YOU HAVE TO STOP AND SAY HELLO. NEXT UP, DOUG ARMSTRONG. HE PUT THE TEAM TOGETHER. HE MADE IT LIVE. THIS IS INCREDIBLE TO BE A PART OF. WE ARE STARTING TO SEE MORE PEOPLE WHO ARE PART OF THE ORGANIZATION AS FAR AS ON THE ICE TODAY. AS THEY MAKE THEIR WAY UP, RIGHT HERE ON 18th STREET. MAKING A HARD RIGHT TURN. LET’S TOSS IT OVER. I’M LOSING MY VOICE I CANNOT HOLD UP THE PARADE ANY LONGER. >>Reporter: IT IS A SHAME PEOPLE ARE NOT HAVING ANY FUN. >>Reporter: HOW ABOUT BOBBY PFLUEGER? WHAT A DAY. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. >>Reporter: YOU SEE THE JOY ON BRETT HALL’S FACE. HE WON THE STANLEY CUP, BUT NOT IN ST. LOUIS. THIS MEANS A LOT TO HIM. THIS IS WHERE HE CUT HIS TEETH IN THE NHL. I REMEMBER INTERVIEWING HIM HIS FIRST DAY AS A ST. LOUIS BLUE. WHO KNEW WHAT IT WOULD DEVELOP INTO? OF COURSE, IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TO GO TO THE ARENA EVERY NIGHT. THE BLUES, AVENUES WE HAVE BEEN MENTIONING FOR WEEKS, THEY WERE IN LAST PLACE ON 3 JANUARY. THEY MADE A GOALIE MOVE. THEY GOT A GUY NAMED DOREEN BINNINGTON. WHO IS NOT ON THE RADAR. HE WAS FOURTH ON THE DEPTH CHART. NOBODY THOUGHT HE WOULD BE THERE TURNING GOALIE. AS SOON AS THEY GOT HIM INTO GOAL, THINGS TURNED AROUND. JORDAN BINNINGTON HAS BEEN BRILLIANT. IN GAME SEVEN, HE STOOD ON HIS EAR, KEEPING BOSTON FROM SCORING. THAT IS HOW THE BLUES CONTINUED TO WIN. THAT IS HOW THEY WON GAME SEVEN.>>Reporter: THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE CHEMISTRY OF A TEAM THAT LEADS TO DAYS LIKE THIS. YOU COULD SAY THAT ABOUT THE ST. LOUIS BLUES. WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT ON PAT. >>Reporter: FRANK?>>Reporter: HE SIGNED WITH THE BLUES ON THE OFF SEASON AND TOOK LESS MONEY TO PLAY AT HOME. TO BE CLOSER TO HIS SON. YOU ALSO WANT TO PLAY IN FRONT OF YOUR HOMETOWN CROWD. THAT IS WHEN HE GOT TO DO. AND HE HAD AN AMAZING PLAYOFF SERIES. >>Reporter: HE SCORED THE CLINCHING GOAL AGAINST DALLAS. THE THING ABOUT IT, AND WE HAVE SEEN IT BEFORE IN OTHER SPORTS. ONE PLAYERS ACTUALLY COME TO PLAY AT THEIR HOMETOWN, IT DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK OUT. BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH PRESSURE ON THEM TO PERFORM. IT OBVIOUSLY WORKED OUT WITH DAVID FREESE OF THE CARDINALS. AND IT CERTAINLY WORKED OUT FOR PAT MAROON. WE REMEMBER HIS EMOTIONAL INTERVIEW AFTER GAME SEVEN AGAINST THE BOSTON BRUINS. FRANK TALKED TO HIM. HE WAS VERY EMOTIONAL ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS TO BRING THE CUP TO HIS HOMETOWN. RIGHT NOW FRANK IS WITH PAT MAROON. >>Reporter: THE MAN OF THE HOUR, PAT MAROON. GOING CRAZY FOR THE OAKVILLE STAR. WHAT A MOMENT. COMING UP NEXT, IS VLADIMIR TARASENKO . TAKE A LOOK AT HIM WITH THE CROWD. MIKE, WITH THE DEFECT YOU. >>Reporter: RIGHT NOW, COLTON PARAYKO , DAVID PERRON IS GOING BY OUR BOOTH, FIVE UNDERSIDE. AND MARKET STREET AND 10th. YOU CAN SEE THE PARADE. THERE ARE LARGE GAPS IN THE PARADE. THE REASON THERE ARE LARGE GAPS IS BECAUSE THE PLAYERS ARE GETTING OUT OF THE TRUCKS AND SPENDING TIME WITH THE FANS. WHICH IS SO GREAT FOR THE FANS. I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU CAN TELL. THIS IS A GREAT SHOT FROM SKY 5 YOU CAN SEE HOW DEEP THE LINES GO OF THE FANS. IN SOME PARTS, WE WERE TOLD HUNDRED PEOPLE DEEP. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE TO SEE. >>Reporter: IT REALLY IS, DOUG ARMSTRONG AND A COUPLE OF GUYS TODAY HAVE SAID, THEY KNEW IF THEY BROUGHT THE STANLEY CUP TO ST. LOUIS, IT WOULD BE THE BIGGEST PARADE THE CITY HAS EVER SEEN. >>>>Reporter: THEY WERE CORRECT. >>Reporter: THAT IS WHAT THIS IS RIGHT NOW. IT IS AMAZING. IT IS A MOMENT THAT WILL GET YOU THROUGH THE LOSSES THAT WILL HAPPEN. THE TOUGH DAYS TO COME IN SEASONS AHEAD. YOU ALWAYS HAVE THIS MOMENT. >>Reporter: WE WANT YOU TO KEEP SENDING PICTURES IN. YOUR VIDEOS. SAYING GLORIA OR WHATEVER YOU HAVE. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU. KEEP SENDING THE PICTURES. WE WILL CONTINUE OUR PARADE COVERAGE, LIVE FROM DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS. TH MIKE BUSCH. THE STORY OF TODAY IS THE FANS. MY DAD WAS THE PRESIDENT OF THE BLUES FOR MANY YEARS. 13 OR 14 YEARS. THE 80s AND THE 90s. >>Reporter: WE HAVE DAVID PERRON AND COLTON PARAYKO MAKING THEIR WAY THROUGH THE CROWD. SORRY TO INTERRUPT. >>Reporter: THE FRONT OFFICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN FOCUSED ON THE FANS. A BRING HOME THE CUP TO THE FANS. THAT IS WHAT MAKES THIS SO SPECIAL. IT IS NOT JUST SOMETHING THEY PUT TOGETHER THIS SEASON. THIS HAS BEEN DECADES IN THE MAKING. THE FACT THAT THEY CONSTANTLY CHANGE THE TEAM. BROUGHT IN NEW FACES. TRY TO IMPROVE THE PRODUCT. ALL TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. AND TO BE HERE TODAY, THERE IS AN ERROR OF A BELIEVABILITY. >>Reporter: THE FACT THAT FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING MORE THAN 50 YEARS MAKES IT SWEETER. MANY OF THE FANS HAVE MADE THEIR WAY TO THE ARCH GROUNDS. THAT IS WHERE THE PARADE WILL END. WITH A BIG RALLY WILL BEGIN. THAT IS WHERE WE FIND, JOSH HELMUTH AND ANNE ALLRED. >>Reporter: THE PARTY IS OBVIOUSLY GROWING BY THE SECOND. NOT ONLY THAT, SOME OF THE PLAYERS AND ALUMNI IN AND THROUGH. KELLY CHASE, COCHAIRMAN AND DOUG ARMSTRONG. AND DESERVEDLY SO, A TON OF TEARS. DOUG ARMSTRONG TRADED FOR A RILEY AND GAVE UP PATRICK. HE DESERVES SOME KIND IF YOU TOWARD. >>Reporter: HE GOT ONE. >>Reporter: HE IS AN NHL MASTERMIND. HE GOT HUGE APPLAUSE. THIS CROWD IS GOING BY THE SECOND>>Reporter: THEY HAVE BEEN TRICKLING IN FOR HALF AN HOUR. THE PARTY HAS BEEN AMAZING FROM THE BEGINNING WITH THE BANDS. PUMPED UP VIDEOS AND JUMBOTRON’S. GM, DOUG ARMSTRONG BROKE AWAY AND WENT TO THE BARRIERS. HE WANTED TO HIGH-FIVE EVERYBODY. IT CONTINUES PAST BROADWAY INTO THE ARCH GROUNDS. KELLY CHASE DID THE SAME THING. CAME UP AND SAID HI TO EVERYONE . WE HAD LAYLA COME IN AWHILE BACK. SHE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST TO TRICKLE IN. I DO NOT THINK ANYONE CHANTED THE NAME FOR ANYONE LATTER THAN HER. >>Reporter: A DISTANT SECOND, WOULD HAVE BEEN COACH CRAIG BERUBE . HE IS LEVELHEADED. >>Reporter: HE WAS WITH HIS FAMILY DRINKING A TALL BUD LIGHT.>>Reporter: VERY CHILL. >>Reporter: WE WILL HAVE SPEECHES AT THE RALLY UNDERNEATH THE ARCH. THE MISSISSIPPI IN THE BACKGROUND. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. WE UNDERSTAND WE HAVE RYAN O’REILLY. WE HAVE A PICTURE OF HIM. WE HAVE NOT SEEN HIM YET. WE HAVE SEEN ONE OR TWO PLAYERS TRICKLE IN THE FIRST PERSON TO SPEAK WILL BE OWNER, TOM STILLMAN. YOU CAN HEAR PEOPLE. AND PEOPLE HAVE BEEN BREAKING OUT INTO COUNTRY ROAD. AND CHARLES GLENN HAS BEEN UP THERE SAYING JIM AFTER JAM WITH A HUGE BAND. HAS BEEN A PARTY SINCE 10 AM. IT IS RAMPING UP. THIS IS WHERE WE WILL HAVE COACH CRAIG BERUBE SPEAK . THEY WILL HAVE HIGHLIGHT VIDEOS. THEY WILL HAVE A VIDEO. >>Reporter: YOU’RE GETTING CHOKED UP. I DO NOT THAT I SAW HIM ON THE LIST, BUT KEEP AN EYE FOR ZACH SANFORD. HE LOST HIS DAD AT THE BEGINNING OF TRAINING CAMP THIS YEAR. HE SAID HE KNOWS HIS DAD, WHO WAS HIS COACH, IS UP IN HEAVEN DRINKING A COLD ONE. I AM EXCITED TO SEE ZACH SANFORD COME THROUGH. IT IS A SPECIAL MOMENT. WE HAVE FRANK AND ABBY DOWN ON THE PARADE ROUTE. >>Reporter: WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT, TAKE A LOOK AT THE CROWD. WE HAVE RYAN O’REILLY, BY THE RED TRUCK BY THE STANLEY CUP. AND A LOT OF BEER. WHAT A GREAT GESTURE BY RYAN O’REILLY TO MAKE SURE THE FANS GET TO TOUCH THE STANLEY CUP. STAY ON THE CUP. YOU CAN HEAR GLORIA LASTING. I THINK ABBY WILL BRING RYAN O’REILLY OVER HERE. SO THAT WE CAN GET A REAL UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL PICTURE OF THE CUP. RYAN O’REILLY, MVP. THAT HE WILL JOIN US RIGHT NOW. >>IS THE COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE. THE PEOPLE HERE. THAT IS HOW YOU WANT IT. EVERYTHING A PERSON IN THE CITY STUCK WITH US. PEOPLE STILL CAME AND WATCHED US. >>Reporter: HOW LONG WILL THE CELEBRATION LAST?>>I AM ENJOYING EVERY SECOND. AT SOME POINT I WILL GET READY FOR NEXT YEAR. >>Reporter: LIFT IT WILL MORE TIME. >>Reporter: AN ICONIC MOMENT IN ST. LOUIS SPORTS HISTORY. THE CAPTAIN, RYAN O’REILLY. LET’S SEND IT BACK. >>Reporter: WHAT A MOMENT THAT WAS SEEN RYAN O’REILLY AND THE WASTING OF THE CUP. RIGHT BEFORE THAT AT OUR BOOTH WE THOUGHT JORDAN BINNINGTON COME THROUGH THE CROWD SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS . REALLY ENJOYED THE MOMENT AS WELL HE SHOULD. >>Reporter: THEY CROWD CHEERING BINNINGTON. >>Reporter: IT MADE BE THE COOLEST THING ANY OF US HAVE DONE. THE SUN IS STARTING TO PEEK THROUGH. WE WERE NOT EXPECTING TO SEE THE SUN. LIKE WE SAID BEFORE, MOTHER NATURE IS A BLUES FAN. >>Reporter: WE WILL TAKE IT. WE WENT FROM RAIN PONCHOS TO FULL ON THE SUN. WE WILL TAKE A QUICK BREAK. >>Reporter: THE OAKVILLE HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND IS COMING THROUGH RIGHT NOW. WE WILL CONTINUE COVERAGE IN A MOMENT. [ CHEERS AND APPLAUSE ] HAVING LOTS OF FUN. JORDAN BINNINGTON JUST CAME BY. IT WAS AWESOME. EVERYBODY CHEERED FOR HIM . SHE WANTS TO HEAR GLORIA. PEOPLE HAVE BEEN OUT HERE SINCE 8 AM, 7 AM AND 9 AM. I WILL NOT DRINK THIS, BUT I WILL HOLD IT. EVERYONE IS SO EXCITED. YOU’RE HAVING A GREAT TIME. EVERYONE IS HAVING A GREAT TIME. >>Reporter: THANKS VERY MUCH. THE ONE THING I CAN TELL YOU HAVING COVERED THE PLAYOFF SERIES FOR QUITE SOME TIME, THERE HAVE BEEN MOMENTS WHEN YOU TRY TO HEAR THE CONTROL ROOM TALKING TO YOU A THREAT TO HEAR YOUR COLLEAGUES, BUT THERE IS NO WAY. I WAS AT ENTERPRISE ONE NIGHT AND WE ARE TRYING TO TALK TO THE CONTROL ROOM AND YOU NEEDED TO HEAR THEM AND YOU CANNOT. FANS ARE SO ENTHUSIASTIC AND THEY ARE SCREAMING AND YELLING AND HAVING A GOOD TIME. NOT ALWAYS THE GREATEST TELEVISION IN THE WORLD. WE WILL ENJOY IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. >>Reporter: IT IS PART OF THE MOMENT TO GET SWEPT AWAY. WHICH IS WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. >>Reporter: PAT MAROON WALKING AROUND. CHOKING IS DIFFERENT WITHOUT THE BAIRD. >>Reporter: FANS ARE GOING CRAZY. >>Reporter: WE CAN SEE THE BLUES CAPTAIN, ALEX PIETRANGELO , CARRYING THE STANLEY CUP OVER HIS HEAD. IS MAKING HIS WAY DOWN MARKET STREET. WHEN AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FANS. LET’S GO TO ABBY. >>Reporter: THIS IS HUGE FOR ST. LOUIS. I AM HERE WITH GUYS WHO CAME ALL THE WAY FROM PHILLY. >>WE ARE GLORIA BOYS. >>Reporter: WHY DID YOU COME HERE FOR THIS?>>THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS, THE BLUES. WE ARE BIG SPORTS FANS. THEY SUPPORTED US AND WE SAW THEM WEARING OUR SHIRTS. WE ROLL WITH THEM. WE LOVE THEM. >>GO ST. LOUIS, BABY. GO GLORIA. LET’S GO BLUES. LET’S GO BLUES. LET’S GO BLUES. >>Reporter: THE GUYS WHO MADE GLORIA THE NEW ANTHEM OF THE BLUES. THE ONE THAT THEY ROAD IN. MANY PEOPLE SAID IT WAS A GOOD LUCK SONG FOR THEM. THE RALLY SONG. AS THE PARADE STARTS TO WRAP UP , WE ARE AT THE TAIL END. THIS COULD BE A 52 YEAR LONG PARADE. JUST BECAUSE EVERYBODY HAS WAITED FOR SO LONG FOR THIS. AND NOW THE CROWD IS WANTING TO STICK AROUND DOWNTOWN. >>HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ANYTHING SO PERSONAL? EVERY ONE OF THEM GOT OFF THE FLOATS. THEY SPENT TIME. THEY HELD UP THE PARADE TO HIGH- FIVE AND TO SIGN AUTOGRAPHS. I NURSE ANYTHING LIKE IT. EVERYBODY WANTED TO TOUCH THE CUP. PEOPLE GOT SPRAYED BY CHAMPAGNE BY THE PLAYERS. >>Reporter: IT WAS AMAZING AND THE RAIN CLEARED UP. THE ONLY SHOWERS WE HAD WERE CHAMPAGNE. THAT IS MY KIND OF ST. LOUIS WHETHER. >>Reporter: THEY ARE WORKING THE CROWD. >>Reporter: THEY SURE ARE. THE GROUT LOVES IT. THE BARRICADES ARE HOLDING. THERE ARE 70 PEOPLE PRESSED UP AGAINST THEM. SUCH A GOOD-NATURED CROWD. HAPPY AND ENJOYING THE ST. LOUIS BLUES HOCKEY TEAM. ENJOYING THE MOMENT.>>Reporter: YOU SEE SOME PEOPLE ARE LITERALLY CRYING. A YOUNG BOY WEARING A VLADIMIR TARASENKO JERSEY JUST GOT TO SHAKE HIS HAND. HE IS LITERALLY CRYING . HE IS IN HIS FATHER’S ARMS. IT IS EMOTIONAL FOR THE FANS WHO HAVE WAITED SO LONG. EVEN THE YOUNGSTERS WHO CARE SO MUCH ABOUT THE BLUES AND HOCKEY IN ST. LOUIS. AND VLADIMIR TARASENKO, A BLUES SUPERSTAR, WHO IS WORKING THE CROWD TODAY. PEOPLE ARE LOVING EVERY SECOND. >>Reporter: HE IS A NEW DAD. THE LITTLE BOY WITH A Y T-SHIRT IS ONE OF HIS SONS. HE HAS A-WEEK-OLD BABY AT HOME. ANOTHER LITTLE BOY. HE HAS THREE KIDS. >>Reporter: HIS BABY WAS BORN DURING THE FINALS. >>Reporter: DURING THE LAST DAYS OF THE SERIES. THIS HAS GOT TO HAVE BEEN A STRESSFUL TIME. NOW, A MOMENT HE CAN ENJOY. GETTING TO THE FINAL WIN. IT TOOK SO MUCH OUT OF THE TEAM. AND NOW THEY ARE SOAKING IT IN. >>Reporter: BEHIND US IS ALEXANDER. IF YOU’RE WONDERING WHERE IT ENDS UP, IT ENDS UP AT THE GATEWAY ARCH. WERE TENS AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE GATHERED TO HEAR THE SPEECHES OF THE ST. LOUIS BLUES AND THEIR COACHES. THEY WILL GET UP AND THINK THE CROWD. WILL TALK ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS TO THEM. >>Reporter: I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR WHAT THEY WILL SAY TO THEIR FANS. THEY CAN SHARE WHAT IT HAS MEANT. HOW MUCH SUPPORT HAS BOOSTED THEM IN MOMENTS WHEN THEY WERE TIRED. THEY TRAVEL SO MUCH. THEY WERE AWAY FROM THEIR FAMILIES. THIS IS A HARD JOB. TO MAKE IT LOOK EASY. >>Reporter: YOU THINK ABOUT THAT HOCKEY PLAYOFFS. THOSE THAT DO NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS HAVE BEEN DONE SINCE EARLY APRIL. THE BLUES CONTINUE TO PLAY INTO THE MIDDLE OF JUNE. AND THEN TRAINING CAMP STARTS AT THE BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER. THERE SUMMER IS GOING TO BE THRILLING. THEY ARE THE CHAMPIONS, BUT IT WILL BE SHORT. A LOT SHORTER THAN A HAS BEEN IN THE PAST. IT IS A CHANCE TO UNWIND. THEY ALSO HAVE TO GET READY TO GET INTO SHAPE FOR NEXT SEASON. THEY CAN ENJOY A LITTLE WHILE LONGER. >>Reporter: THEY HAVE THIS MOMENT TO SAVOR AND REMEMBER FOR THE REST OF THE SUMMER. >>Reporter: BEHIND US, IS THE STANLEY CUP. RYAN O’REILLY IS BEHIND US HOLDING THE STANLEY CUP. WE WILL BACK OUT OF THE WAY. SO THAT THEY CAN GET A CLEAR SHOT OF THIS. RYAN O’REILLY WILL GO DOWN THE LINE SO THEY CAN GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH THE STANLEY CUP. >>Reporter: I WISH I KNEW HOW MUCH IT WEIGHS. THAT BEEN HOISTING IT OVER THEIR HEADS FOR SO LONG. IT CANNOT BE LIGHT. I BET THEY NEVER GET TIRED OF IT. >>Reporter: WHAT A MOMENT IS RYAN O’REILLY BRINGS THE STANLEY CUP WEIGHT BY OUR STAGE. WITH A MOMENT THIS IS FOR BLUES FANS. A LOT OF THEM HAVE REPLICA STANLEY CUP TROPHIES. AND SOME OF THE PLAYERS HAVE BEEN GRABBING THAT AND HOLDING IT OUT. LIKE IT IS THE REAL THING. >>Reporter: IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. 52 YEARS. >>Reporter: WE ARE HEARING GLORIA. >>Reporter: RYAN O’REILLY WON MOST VALUABLE PLAYER TROPHY. WITH MAPLE LEAF ON IT. A NICE PROMINENT SPACE ON THE FIRETRUCK. >>Reporter: THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE IT, IS THE BIGGEST PARTY IN THE HISTORY OF ST. LOUIS. >>Reporter: I BELIEVE YOU ARE CORRECT. >>Reporter: PEOPLE ARE IN A PARTY MOOD. THEY WILL BE FOR AWHILE. WE TALKED ABOUT THIS EARLIER WITH THE MAYOR ABOUT HOW SPORTS BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER. K HAS SEEN A LOT OF DIFFERENT PARADES. AND A LOT OF EVENTS IN DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS’S. WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. >>Reporter: HERE COME THE CLYDESDALES. WE SAW THEM EARLIER ON THE PARADE ROUTE. THEY ARE JUST MAKING IT TO TENT THE MARKET. GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF HOW LONG IT IS TAKING THE ST. LOUIS BLUES TO MEET THEIR FANS. CONNECT WITH THEM, SHAKE THEIR HAND AND CELEBRATE THE STANLEY CUP WIN. >>Reporter: ONE OF THE REASONS IT HAS TAKEN SOME TIME IS THE PLAYERS ARE RELISHING IN THE MOMENT. THERE GETTING OUT OF THEIR VEHICLES AND THEY ARE WALKING UP AND DOWN THE BARRICADES. AND MEETING UP WITH FANS, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. HERE COMES ALEX PIETRANGELO , HOLDING TWO OF HIS THREE CHILDREN. WONDER IF THAT IS HEAVIER THAN THE CUP?>>Reporter: THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE. >>Reporter: NOW VLADIMIR TARASENKO HAS THE CUP. THE BAR REACHING OUT AND ARE TOUCHING VLADIMIR TARASENKO AND THE STANLEY CUP . HERE COME THE CLYDESDALES. THERE COMING RIGHT BY OUR BOOTH. >>Reporter: THAT IS THE ICONIC ST. LOUIS MOMENT. THOSE ARE BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS. THEY ARE SPECTACULAR. >>Reporter: I’M LOOKING AT THE GRIN ON THE FACE OF ALEX PIETRANGELO. HE HAS NOT STOPPED SMILING CITY CAME INTO VIEW. >>Reporter: THEY SPEND A LOT OF TIME AWAY FROM THEIR FAMILIES. THEY ARE FINALLY GETTING THE TIME THAT THEY LOOK FORWARD TO ALL SEASON LONG. AND HOW SWEET IT IS THAT THEY HAVE EIGHT STANLEY CUP TO CELEBRATE WITH THEIR FAMILIES. >>Reporter: WE ARE USED TO SEEING THE CLYDESDALES ON OPENING DALE AT BUSCH STADIUM. COME OUT OF THE GATES AND MAKE A WAY AROUND THE TRACK. WE HAVE NOT OFTEN SEEN THE CLYDESDALES MAKE THEIR WAY DOWN MARKET STREET FOR A VICTORY PARADE. WE HAVE SEEN IT BEFORE. THERE SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT THIS ONE. >>Reporter: FOR THIS ANGLE, YOU CAN SEE HOW DEEP THE CROWD IS. IT IS 30 DEEP AT LEAST ON MARKET STREET. IT IS DIFFICULT TO WALK ALONG THE SIDEWALK. THE SIDEWALKS ARE SO FULL. HERE IS THE CHOPPER SHOT. SKY 5 GIVING US AN AMAZING VIEW OF THE UNPRECEDENTED TURNOUT. FOR ANY SPORT CELEBRATION. OR ANY CELEBRATION PERIOD. >>>>Reporter: ONE OF THE THINGS PEOPLE WERE WORRIED ABOUT WAS TRAFFIC. IT WAS PRETTY BAD, BUT THINK HOW BAD TRAFFIC CAN BE WHEN THERE ARE 50,000 PEOPLE GOING TO THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS GAME. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS LIKE ON HIGHWAY 40 AND IT IS BUMPER-TO- BUMPER TRYING TO GET TO THE GAME. 10 TIMES THAT AMOUNT OF PEOPLE. I DO NOT KNOW WITH THE FINAL TOTALS WILL BE. THERE ARE PEOPLE ON THE ROOFS OF SOME BUILDINGS. THERE ARE PEOPLE ON TOP OF THE SCULPTURE. PEOPLE ARE EVERYWHERE JUST TO GET A GLIMPSE OF THE PLAYERS. THE STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS. >>Reporter: I LOVE THE ARCH AROUND SHOT. THERE IS ROOM LEFT FOR PEOPLE STANDING ON MARKET STREET. THIS IS THE FIRST OFFICIAL LARGE-SCALE EVENT ON THE RENOVATED ARCH GROUNDS. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW MANY THEY CAN PACK DOWN THERE. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SETTING WITH THE ARCH IN THE BACKDROP. >>Reporter: WE WILL CONTINUE OUR PARADE COVERAGE ON 5 ON YOUR SIDE. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE. THERE IS A LOT MORE TO COME. WE CONTINUE AFTER THIS. LOVE TH SHOTS. IT SHOWS HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE WEARING BLUE. IT IS A SEA OF BLUE. ALMOST EVERYBODY, AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE ARE IN A BLUES JERSEY OR BLUES SWEATSHIRT. OR A SUPERSTITION SHIRT THEY WERE AND WILL NOT TAKE OFF DURING THE STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS.>>Reporter: THEY MAY WEAR IT FOR A WHILE. LET’S GO TO MORGAN YOUNG. WHAT IS GOING ON WHERE YOU ARE AT?>>Reporter: I LIKE JORDAN BINNINGTON A LITTLE MORE . I DON’T THINK SHE IS THE ONLY ONE. WE WILL SEND IT BACK TO YOU. THE ENERGY IS AMAZING. >>Reporter: WE ARE JOINED BY FRANK CUSUMANO. 5 ON YOUR SIDE SPORTS DIRECTOR. YOU WERE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PARADE. WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU WERE SAYING THERE. AS SOMEONE WHO HAS LIVED HERE ALL OF HIS LIFE AND HAS BEEN A SPORTS FAN, WHAT DID IT MEAN? >>IT IS TOO MUCH. I SAID IT BEFORE I HAVE BEEN ALIVE FOR FIVE CARDINAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. AND A RAMS SUPER BOWL. THIS IS BY FAR, THE GREATEST THING I HAVE BEEN A PART OF. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW TO IMPROVE A CITY AND GET PEOPLE TO LOVE EACH OTHER MORE, WIN A STANLEY CUP AFTER 52 YEARS. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST WELL BEHAVED AND MOST WELL LOVED — EVERYWHERE YOU GO, PEOPLE ARE HUGGING AND SMILING. I’VE NEVER BEEN A PART OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS. >>Reporter: WHAT MAKES IT SO SPECIAL IS OBVIOUSLY, PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WAITING A LONG TIME. IT WAS SO UNEXPECTED. IT IS NOT UNLIKE THE 99 RAMS. NOBODY THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE IN THE SUPER BOWL. THIS MEANS SO MUCH MORE TO ST. LOUIS. BECAUSE THE BLUES HAVE BEEN A PART OF ST. LOUIS. >>Reporter: A GOOD SIMILARITY. WE WAITED 4 YEARS FOR THE RAMS AS OPPOSED TO 52 YEARS AND 51 SEASONS. I HAVE TO TELL YOU, I THINK THESE PLAYERS NEED ADVIL AND ASPIRIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THEY HAVE NOT STOPPED SINCE THEY GOT HOME AND WENT STRAIGHT TO OB CLARK’S. THEY ARE HAVING THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES. >>Reporter: IT IS SO SPECIAL TO SEE ALEX PIETRANGELO WITH THE CUP . OR RYAN O’REILLY WITH THE CUP. AND LETTING FANS TOUCH THE STANLEY CUP. >>Reporter: THAT WAS THE BEST GESTURE OF ALL. THAT STANLEY CUP IS NOT LIGHT ETIQUETTE WAS 35 POUNDS. FOR BOTH RYAN AND ALEX — I BET 1500 FANS TOUCHED THAT THING. THOSE 1500 FANS, WHEN THEY GET HOME TONIGHT, THEY WILL TELL 1000 FRIENDS, I GOT TO TOUCH THE CUP. HOW MANY PEOPLE GET TO TOUCH THE CUP?>>Reporter: THINK ABOUT THIS, YOU TALKED ABOUT THIS BEFORE. THINK ABOUT WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A HOCKEY PLAYER IN THE NHL. WE HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS FOR YOUNG ST. LOUIS PLAYERS TO MAKE IT TO THE NHL. THEIR MOMS AND DADS, TAKING THEM TO THE RINK EARLY IN THE MORNING JUST TO GET ICE TIME. I REMEMBER TAKING MY SON WHO PLAYED HOCKEY IN HIGH SCHOOL. AT 5 AM, SO HE COULD PRACTICE. I WOULD WAIT IN THE CAR, TRYING TO GET A NAP BEFORE HAD TO GO TO WORK. IT IS A SACRIFICE FOR PARENTS. LOOK HOW IT PAID OFF FOR THESE FANS AND THE PARENTS. AND WHAT IT WILL MEAN FOR PARENTS OF THE FUTURE. >>Reporter: HIKE HE HOCKEY IN ST. LOUIS HAS GONE FROM HERE TO HERE. AND GO UP HIGHER. WE KNOW ABOUT THE FIVE FIRST ROUND DRAFT CHOICES THREE YEARS AGO. WE KNOW ABOUT THE ALL-STAR GAME COMING. WE KNOW ABOUT MAYBE THE BEST FACILITY NOW IN HOLLYWOOD CASINO . WE ALSO KNOW IT IS NOT A ONE- YEAR WONDER SQUAD. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN SPORTS. I REALIZE THAT. WITH ALL OF YOUR BEST PLAYERS IN THEIR PRIME OR APPROACHING THE PRIME AND YOU HAVE YOUNG STUDS ON THE WAY UP. THIS IS GOING TO BE A TEAM THAT WILL BE CONCERNED ABOUT. WE WILL WATCH FOR YEARS AND YEARS. ABOUT YOUR ORIGINAL POINT, THE FAMILY ANGLE. THAT IS WHY WITH A GUY LIKE JOEL EDMUNDSON. HIS THAT CAME TO TEARS AFTER GAME SEVEN IN BOSTON WHEN WE TALK ABOUT HOW NOBODY FROM OUR TOWN HAS WON A STANLEY CUP. AND MY LITTLE BOY IS DONE HERE. >>Reporter: WHAT IT MEANS TO ZACH SANFORD. WHO LOST HIS THAT IN TRAINING CAMP. >>Reporter: HE SAID HE WAS NOT CERTAIN IF ALL OF HIS CLOSE BOSTON FRIENDS WERE ROOTING FOR THE BLUES EARLY. AND THEY GOT CLOSE ENOUGH AND ZACH GOT A POINT IN THREE CONSECUTIVE GAMES, THEY WERE WITH HIM. AND YOU THINK THAT HIS FATHER AFTER GAME SEVEN, IT IS NOT JUST FOR PLAYERS. IT IS NOT JUST FOR FAMILIES. IT IS FOR THE ENTIRE TOWN. >>Reporter: TALK ABOUT COACH CRAIG BERUBE. THEY KEPT THINGS QUIET. HERE IS A GUY WHO BECAME COACH NOVEMBER 20. HE TURNS THIS THING AROUND I DO NOT KNOW HOW HE DID IT. IF YOU BROUGHT A STORY ABOUT THIS, NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE YOU. >>Reporter: HE IS THE MOST THAT WAS THE MOST INTERIM OF INTERIM COACHES. AFTER 20 GAMES, HAD 11 LOSSES. HE WAS NOT INCREDIBLY DYNAMIC. THE MEDIA DID NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM. MUST PEOPLE THOUGHT, AT THE END OF THE SEASON HE IS DONE IF ANYTHING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO GETTING HIM FIRED. HE MAY GET A 4 MILLION CONTRACT. HE IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE. HE LOVED THIS TOWN. AS. ARMSTRONG SAID, 4 WEEKS AGO, OUR SEARCH FOR HEAD COACH IS DOWN TO ONE. WE KNOW IT IS CRAIG BERUBE .>>Reporter: TALK ABOUT THE ALUMNI. ONE OF THE THINGS YOU NOTICE, AS PLAYERS HAVE BEEN MAKING THE WAY DOWN MARKET STREET, WE NOTE THE BLUES ALUMNI A STRONG IN ST. LOUIS. LAYERS COME HERE AND THEY STAY HERE. WHAT THIS MEANS TO PEOPLE LIKE BERNIE AND BRETT HULL. BRETT HULL WON THE STANLEY CUP AS A PLAYER I’M NOT SURE IT MEANS AS MUCH TO HIM AS TAKING THIS RIGHT DOWN MARKET STREET. >>Reporter: ONE BRETT HAS SETTLED DOWN, AND YOU PUT HIM IN A LIE DETECTOR, WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST THRILL OF THE STANLEY CUP’S? HE WOULD CHOOSE THE ONE HE DID NOT PLAY IN IN ST. LOUIS. I’M NOT MUCH OF A HUNGER. THE OTHER NIGHT AFTER GAME SEVEN, HE HUGGED ME FOR 90 SECONDS. HE IS IN THE BEST FOUR DAY STRETCH HE HAS EVER HAD>>Reporter: I THINK MEAN SO MUCH TO HIM BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE HE CUT HIS TEETH AS A NHL PLAYER. A LOT OF PEOPLE FEEL IF IT WAS NOT FOR BRETT HULL WE WOULD NOT HAVE THE ENTERPRISE CENTER. THEY NEVER QUITE GOT THERE. IT ALWAYS WAS THE DREAM. IT WAS ALWAYS THE DREAM AND THEY WANTED TO DO IT FOR THE FANS. IT IS THE FANS THAT MEAN SO MUCH TO THE PLAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE. >>Reporter: HE SCORED 741 GOALS AND ONLY THREE PEOPLE IN HOCKEY HAVE DONE MORE. THERE WAS A HOLE IN HIS RESUME ABOUT NOT WINNING A CUP HERE. AND HE GOT ONE IN DETROIT AND DALLAS. AND THIS COMPLETES EVERYTHING. THE BLUES HAVE A STANLEY CUP. HE IN SOME WAY IS A PART OF IT. JUST LIKE BERNIE FOR. GO. JUST LIKE BOB LIE. >>Reporter: LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR DAD. ONE OF THE THINGS WE HAVE TALKED ABOUT IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS ARE THE PEOPLE THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO THE FRANCHISE. THE MIKE SHANAHAN AND DAN KELLY AND JACK WHEN. AND SOMEWHERE UP THERE, THEY ARE SMILING. >>Reporter: I HAVE TO THINK SOMEHOW SOMEWAY, THEY KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED. THERE WERE SO MANY MOMENTS IN THE PLAYOFF GAMES WHERE IT SEEMED EVERYTHING WAS FALLING APART. IT WOULD TURN ON A DIME. MY SIBLINGS AND I WOULD SAY THAT THERE IS DAD. BACK AT WORK. THAT IS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS FRANCHISE. THEY HAVE BEEN DEDICATED TO BRINGING THIS MOMENT TO ST. LOUIS FOR DECADES. IT HAS TAKEN A LITTLE WHILE. THEY CONSTANTLY RETOOL. THEY CONSTANTLY SET GOALS TO TRY TO BRING A STANLEY CUP HOME. AND ALL THE GUYS YOU JUST MENTIONED WOULD LOVE THIS MOMENT. >>Reporter: THE GUY THAT JACK WHEN HIRED, KEN WILSON, ONE OF THE GREATEST BROADCASTERS OF ALL TIME. I TALKED TO HIM ON THE PHONE ON FRIDAY. HE IS WATCHING THE STANLEY CUP FINAL IN GAME SEVEN IN HAWAII WITH HIS WIFE. AND HE SAYS, AS SOON AS BRAYDEN SCHENN SCORED A GOAL. HE YELLS, OH BABY. HIS CLASSIC CALL. • I was watching the blues the whole series through and hoping that they would the Stanley Cup,but, they worked hard so they deserve it that's the way to go.

  • I will never get tired of watching this!! Congratulations guys!! The parade was so much fun, it could have been a monsoon & we all would have been there.

  • What a shame… In the days when kids need real heroes… Then these guys are shown celebrating, each one holding a large can of beer and they are all drunk. I only watched part of it. It was disgusting. I am glad the Blues won the Stanley Cup, but the parade was just another opportunity to party. I'm not proud of the way they acted. Sad! 😢

  • Let's Go BLUES – I'm a lifelong Blues fan who's been living in the hockey wasteland of Houston, Texas for 40+ years. I was at The Arena for a game in the 60s, I saw them play in the playoffs in Chicago, and lived through seeing them SHUT OUT the Canadiens on Forum ice in 1970. So many great memories of my most favorite team. Thanks for posting this great video coverage online so I can pretend to be part of the great celebration. I'm so happy for the team, the fans, and the great city of St. Louis.

  • Congratulations St. Louis Blues but in 2020 it will be my Chicago Blackhawks that will take back Lord Stanley's Cup with ease! So next year it'll be our turn to celebrate! ha, ha, ha…ha! he, he, he…he!

  • from a leaf fan watching the blues the past 50 years there is no other team that deserves this MORE ..GO BLUES

  • As a Life Long, DIE HARD, Boston Bruins fan.
I have to admit that there is NO OTHER team in the NHL that I would've rather seen take the Cup..
The St. Louis Blues Beat All the Odds.
Last place in the Western Conference to Cup Champions.
Hats Off to the Blues & their Fans !!

  • They earned the title "Stanley Cup Champions 2019"! No doubt about it, they worked harder, longer and with more intensity than anyone else!
