First who’s gonna tell you about a basic
gut wrench that you don’t fake one direction or the other, so um if your
opponent’s already got to the mat, if you’re not in a gut wrench position yet,
just lift your opponent’s head and place your other hand on the side of his body
and slide underneath, and the other other hand slides very deep inside, so that you
can place that hand, more specifically your wrist around your opponent’s pelvic
bone, so that you can make your grip tight enough. Your wrist to your opponent
pelvic bone. And it’s time to have your grip now. Hold your each hand together, I mean lock your thumb together.
Do not let your thumb cross each other, they shouldn’t be coiled. Look at the
coach’s hands right there. And stay square, except your head should be at the
same side where your grip is. And imagine that your head is like a spoon. Imagine
that you spoon your opponent’s armpit with your head. While you’re doing this keep
sticking with your opponent all the time. Keep your elbows close to your body.
There shouldn’t be any space left between your head and your opponent’s
upper body. But don’t try lifting your opponent up only by pulling your arms
like that in the video, because it causes exhaustion’s of your physical strength.
Instead, put pressure on your opponent by kicking the mat forward. Put down your
weight you should do these two, spooning and kicking, at the same time. And two step! One~ one, two. Step up alongside your opponent and at the end of the step,
place your knee near your head, because that’s where you can roll him easily.
Once more, just like this. And also make sure not to place your elbow on the mat,
because um if you do, if you place your elbow on the mat just like this, you can’t
roll your opponent. It’s going to be like this. But instead, just put your elbow
on your opponent’s thigh. I mean he would try to defense by placing his knee high because
he would think that you’d go that direction because your grip is there, if he does
just put your elbow there and get your grip and put pressure on his thigh with
your elbow. Also your elbows should always be close to your body. And while
doing this, two step, and roll him not to the side but to the diagonally upward just
like that. Now the second one is more
advanced one. You’re gonna learn about how to fake your direction. So when you
kick the mat, when you push your opponent while keeping your elbows close to your
body, your opponent upper body would be lifted a little bit, and at that moment
do not move your right arm and slide your left arm underneath your opponent’s
body very quickly and pull and roll him even before he realizes that he’s in
danger. I mean before he starts to defend
himself towards that direction that you’re planning to go to. If you slide
your arm too slowly, then of course he’s gonna defend just like that and you
would never be able to roll him. So it should be very quick. You put your arm very
quickly in that split-second, then, then boom! Game’s over!
Now finally it’s time to learn his super amazing finisher movement. So let’s say
that you’re trying to do the first basic one that you don’t fake your direction,
but if your opponent is really great at defense, you’d never be able to roll him
just by doing that, but you know in this position, his arm is very important thing
to your opponent, because if his arm is not there, he won’t be able to defend
himself. So as time goes by, as you try to rol him much stronger and stronger,
his arm will get closer to you just like that. And you won’t be able to roll him.
But you can get your advantage there. Just keep your body there. But hold your
opponent’s arm with your arm. Make sure not to hold it like this,
because in this way you can’t get your grip, and without your grip you
can’t roll him or just roll him only once just like. So make sure
you put your arm and your elbow deep inside just like when you shoot your
single leg tackle and hold your opponent’s leg and pull your elbow and
get your grip very tight and roll yeah.
Roll and roll. if your opponent is a great wrestler he already knows that you
can go both sides and he prepares to defend for both situations and he flinches a
little bit as you move your body cause he’s not sure yet which side you’re gonna go
to, so at that moment when he flinches, you just roll him to the direction where
you’re Grip is, but if you couldn’t cheat him, if he keeps defending towards
that direction, then go to the other direction. And the last one, you thought
you faked your direction and chose the one side, but he keeps defending and it
seems like you will never be able to roll him, then you have your grip with your
opponent’s arm and roll. That’s it!
